Ducks Spotted at Operation Arrow!

Our ducks got back from Operation Arrow. Here are some photos taken by our youth for a sneak peek into the fun they had.

Take some time to read about some of the experiences our youth had at Operation Arrow.

“Attending the National Jamboree through Operation Arrow was a very different and unique experience. I have never done anything like it. I met dozens of wonderful people that I hope to stay in contact with for the rest of my life. Not only did I get to meet new people, I also was able to reconnect with friends that I haven’t seen since I was a Cub Scout in Alaska and Florida. Being a part of the Jamboree Service Team through Operation Arrow I served on the Summit Apex staff. My job was operating the spotlight for the closing show at the Summit Apex program. But it wasn’t all work. I was given the opportunity to enjoy the program that the Jamboree was offering in my off time. My favorite activity at the jamboree was the skatepark with a close second being whitewater rafting. My favorite part about Operation Arrow was being a principal in the Summit Circle Rededication ceremony. I believe that through Operation Arrow I was able to have memorable experiences that I will cherish forever.” -Logan Garwood

“This summer I had the pleasure to experience the National Jamboree in an interesting, unique way. I served as a member of the Service Corps in Operation Arrow and got to see each part of the Jamboree first hand. I met so many amazing  people and forged bonds that will last a lifetime. Being a member of Operation Arrow came with its own perks as well; on top of being able to go to the Jamboree for half price, we had our own special shows, amenities, and privileges. Going to national events such as NOAC has always been a blast and staffing this past jamboree has been no different. It is certainly an experience that I’ll never forget.” – Joshua Cox
